is there a menu

i was wondering if there was a way to have a menu like the one on fluxbox or could icons or pure text be added to bar to quick lunch applications, if so if i could be directed to where or how to?

or if it could be done so that it responds like xnomad's auto suggest for running programs
i would add it myself, all programs are probably listed in some common text files allready,
but im not familiar with subtle

You are asking for several things at once.

  1. There is no fluxbox like menu, normally you don't see the root window at all so this is quite pointless.
  2. I have no idea what the 'auto suggest for running programs' in xmonad is.
  3. There is a launcher designed for subtle, you can find in here.
