Tags\015\012\015\012Tags are used in subtle to fulfill two main tasks: \015\012# Determine the visibility of a client on a certain view\015\012# Define startup properties and the gravity\015\012\015\012Therefore there are three different types of predefined tags:\015\012\015\012+Placement+:\015\012Placement tags generally control the visibility of clients on views and every tag beside the predefined ones is a placement tag. To ensure that a client is at least on one view there exists the default tag.
